Oklahoma roots. A builder’s mindset.
Robert
Floyd.
Entrepreneur. Developer.
Owner of Campground Collective.
A lifetime around RVs. A belief in better hospitality. A drive to build businesses that mean something to the people they serve.

01 / The owner
Good businesses
are built around people.
Robert Floyd is an Oklahoma entrepreneur, developer and business leader, and the owner of Campground Collective. His work brings together business operations, finance, strategic growth, real estate and hospitality, with a focus on building organizations that perform well and serve people well.
From his beginnings in the family RV business to his work in campground hospitality, Robert has approached business ownership as both an operational challenge and an opportunity to create something lasting. His priorities are clear: strong teams, disciplined execution, thoughtful investment and an experience that gives people a reason to return.
He believes the influence of a successful business extends beyond its financial results. Through job creation, investment and economic activity, a well-run organization can contribute to the communities it serves, the cities in which it operates and Oklahoma as a whole.

02 / The long way here
He grew up in the business.
Then made it his own.
Robert C. Floyd grew up in the family RV business, gaining firsthand experience in an industry built around travel, service and the relationships between a business and its customers. That early exposure gave him a practical understanding of the work behind the sale: managing inventory, coordinating operations and earning trust.
When his father was ready to retire, Robert pursued the financing needed to take over the business. The transition required persistence through repeated rejections from banks and inventory financing companies. Securing that support became an early lesson in the determination and financial discipline business ownership demands.
After taking the reins, Robert focused on strengthening the operation. He expanded into a new facility, launched a logistics company to support operations and introduced call centers to improve customer service. Each step reflected an interest in building the systems that allow a business to grow while maintaining a consistent experience.
He eventually sold the dealership, carrying the experience of operating, improving and growing an RV business into his next chapter in hospitality.
03 / The guest comes first
A place to park.
A reason to stay.
Robert’s transition into campgrounds grew from a belief that RV travelers deserve a thoughtful hospitality experience. A campsite provides a place to stay; the way people are welcomed, supported and cared for shapes how they remember it.
Drawing on his training at the Disney Institute, Robert brought a guest-centered perspective to campground operations. Referring to travelers as guests reflected a broader commitment to service standards, attention to detail and the everyday interactions that build trust.
His work has also included a campground app designed to connect guests with food delivery and local attractions. The purpose was practical: make a stay more convenient, connect guests with nearby places and improve the way the operation serves them.
As owner of Campground Collective, Robert brings that approach to RV hospitality in Yukon, near Oklahoma City. His focus connects the quality of the guest experience with the strength of the organization behind it, from reliable processes to a team equipped to deliver attentive service.

Elevated service

The work makes it real.

Good ideas need
someone willing to start.
Robert is interested in helping aspiring entrepreneurs move from an early idea to a functioning business. Having navigated financing challenges, operational change and business growth himself, he values the practical lessons that help an owner turn ambition into action.
His broader vision is to build organizations that create lasting value for guests, employees, partners and the places they call home. For Robert, a business legacy includes the opportunities it creates for others, the standards it establishes and the foundation it leaves for the next generation.
Across entrepreneurship, development and hospitality, that vision continues to guide his work: build with integrity, serve with intention and make decisions with the long term in mind.
